The refurbishment of the Ibra Hospital’s STP involved construction of new Sewage balancing tank to balance the hydraulics of the existing STP with allied electro-mechanical works, Renovation of all existing civil structures, construction of air blower shed, upgradation of manual pressure sand filters to automatic filters.
The brief electromechanical equipment’s supply and installation include new air blowers for the balancing tank, new air blowers for the process tank, replacement of tubular diffuser system with latest disc diffuser system, installation of anoxic tank mixer, replacement of filter feed, backwash pumps, chlorine dosing system, electro-magnetic flowmeter, Raw sewage pumps etc.
The main challenge involved renovation of the complete STP without stopping the feed sewage flow to the STP during the complete course of project execution.
